USB Nothing

I can charge my Iphone using my wall charger, but nothing happens when I plug my phone into my PC via USB. I do not even get the sound the pc usually makes when a usb device gets plugged in. It will not recognize in itunes or my computer or device manager. I have made sure the aapl services are running. Any HELP PLEASE!!!

Does the PC recognize any other usb device you plug in?

Sounds like your USB driver is not recognizing you iPhone.

other devices work great. I just reinstalled the latest itunes and restarted the computer. Still nothing.

It could be a bad cable. The cable could work from the wall...but not when plugged in USB. What are the chances you have another cable to try? Assuming you have already tried different USB ports.

You could try uninstalling the usb ports and then restarting the cpu and having the cpu reinstall it. I had similar probs years ago with my Treo.
