Transferring from 2 computers problems

Hi,
I recently joined so if this has been addressed please let me know.
I have iTunes on 2 different computers.
On my desktop, iTunes does not see the songs.
I synced my iPhone to my laptop which syncs fine, but has far fewer and different songs than the desktop.
Can anyone tell me how to get the songs on my desktop onto my iPod without wiping out what I have on my laptop when iTunes doesn't see them. I will be then only be syncing my iPhone with my laptop.

You can just do a copy and paste of the music from your desktop unit to the laptop. I had to do the same thing and worked fine.

but I am assuming you mean from windows explorer heirarchy.

Yes. Is your desktop connected to the laptop? If not make a data CD and copy to the cd then open and import in the the iTunes laptop.
