please help

they there, i know this isnt the first time i ask this question
but could someone please tell me a sofware or link to the best dvd converter out there, i have tried several but the quality is really bad.

i also checked out in the software forum, but handbreak application didnt work for my computer.

i was wondering if theres another link or something i can download to have dvd quality movies on my iphone
your help would be appreciated

use handbreak, and have on several computers old and new so im surprised it isnt working for you

Ive heard that MactheRipper is a good program though. Never used it personally.

Im assuming you have a Mac since you were testing out handbrake. I dont think they have a pc version though i may be wrong.

MactheRipper is, obviously, Mac only.

it woulnt work on me OMG!!! lol
it said that it wouldnt work on computer with the frame work smaller than 2

finally i got the handbrake to work
but then i couldnt get it to decode , i chose the dvd drive and click encode, the message pop up and say its done, like within a second, then there was nothing there at all...
please help

If you don't mind paying a couple of bucks you should pick up the one by cucusoft. Its the only one I found that converts widescreen dvds the right way, by cropping the black bars at the top and bottom so that you can fully zoom in. Its also a bit faster than some of the alternatives..

Handbrake works awesomely on my mac. The program has presets, so you can just click preset, then ipod. It turns out great. It usually takes 45 minutes or so to convert a DVD to iphone format.

This was my first choice too then got scared away by negative reviews. I'm glad to hear it's working well for you!!

Roxio Crunch works great for me but you will need to use a program like MacTheRipper first to remove Copyright protection if you are trying to covert a commercial DVD.
