My USB 2.0 not working, but 1.1 does!

I have the latest drivers for my 4-port usb 2.0 PCI card installed and when I connect the iphone to the computer it does not recognize it, not even in itunes(latest version). But it does work perfectly with the original usb port that came with the motherboard, usb 1.0 or 1.1.
Does anyone know a solution to this? Thank you!

You may need to check the drivers for the card. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the card, so that it installs new drivers. Also reboot the computer after the final install.

What is your OS, XP or Vista?

same problem here.. and i'm running usb 2.0 for sure, this is a new problem that just started happening... i've updated all usb drivers and installed service pack 3 so i'm stumped cause everything else registers as 2.0 except for my phone
