is it a removable disc drive

if i plug an i phone into a pc with no i tunes will it show up as removable disc drive so i can use it like a usb flash drive ??

There is a cool app called "USB Drive" that allows you to setup your iPhone
as a USB drive connected to your computer (via the USB cable), I partitioned
a 5g drive on my 3GS, but you need to be jailbroken.

Spend an hour or two searching and reading the iPhone Modifications section
of this forum. Many cool people, even more cool things you can do with your
iPhone.

lol exactly, but the problem is that if you're not really good with technology, it could be a bad idea to jailbreak since they won't help you after you do.

ummm... no because it's not really a drive. you can do that with an ipod because it's like an external hard drive, the phone isn't. you can access it without itunes though using cyberduck or any unix environment, but it's dangerous if you are not familiar with system files because once you screw one of them up, bye bye phoney.
