iphone menu/tabs not showing up in itunes

Hey there

I recently unlocked my iphone and everything (ceppt Youtube ofc) works fine.

But when i connect it to the computer itunes starts up and i can see the iphone on the left hand side.

However the menu with the Summary tabs, restore button etc do NOT show up a t all. Instead the screen is either blank or the previous window is shown e.g. Music, Movies etc.

Why wont the menu show up? Ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling older versions of itunes as well as the newest. Tried rebooting several times. I have no idea what else to do.

I use Windows XP. Cannot figure out how to get it to show the right meny so I can friggin sync my iphone with the music.

FWIW, i previously used ipod nano with my itunes. Dont know if this has anything to do with it.
