Default Iphone has been detected but could not be identified.

I recently have been having problems getting my iPhone to sync with iTunes. Every time I connect it to my computer I receive a "Iphone has been detected but could not be identified." message. I have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, quicktime, and any apple file. It would be really cool if someone could help me.

Check from other PC if you get the same problem or download the latest itunes.

Pls. Indicate your iPhone model and firmware.

Try to check the USB port of your PC, maybe there is a problem on it.

Ah ok. Use iTunes 8.2 to restore and download the IPSW on this site.
