Iphone and Windows sharing

Well after jailbreaking the iphone im not that impressed yet. i can understand the method of file tranfer between the 2 but dammit just where does it all go? theres got to be a kagillion spots to put things and not a one is a safe place unless you know where. im looking to add a few games that itunes has a complaint about or delete a video or audio file i dropped into dtunes/movieplayer.[if possible or feesable] little things like this would be nice i have agood idea where to put the NES roms But will it even work? im using iphone browser at the moment.
