I want to work on my iPhone, but can't Jailbreaking it at this moment.... HELP!!!

Is there a program like the "iPhone Explorer" that works without Jailbreaking the iPhone?
I tried to Jailbreak my iPhone, but since it's Firmware is 3.1, I was unable to do it. So I'll like to have a way to deal with adding images and ringtones, inside the iphone not by using the iTunes' way. Is it possible?

You can use the images in your phone that you've taken or the ones that you've synced, for use as wallpaper or for contacts pictures. Ringtones you can sync via iTunes as well.

What exactly do you want to do?

I used to put a specific ringtone to ring on the New Text Message, New Voicemail, New Mail, Sent Mail, Calendar Alerts, Lock Sounds and Keyboard Clicks ... Just mention some examples.

Ok, so you've used openSSH on your phone.

There is no other way to do these sorts of modifications without Jail breaking your device. Sorry.
