Default How to delete all items on iPhone calendar?

I've looked and looked and looked. I can't find the answer anywhere.

I know you can sync your MS Outlook calendar through iTunes. I've been doing that for months now with no problems.

However, I see you can also sync over the air by setting up your Exchange account on the phone. This would be more convenient for me since 1) I currently sync only my calendar through iTunes at work and sync everything else at home through iTunes and 2) I could sync my work calendar with my iPhone no matter where I am instead of remembering to sync at work.

So, I currently have all this stuff in my calendar from syncing it with iTunes. How do I clear out all that stuff before I sync it with Exchange over the air?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if it's anything like my experience with using NuevaSync to sync my contacts, it should wipe out anything on your phone upon the first "cloud" sync anyway (if memory serves). You're expected to have moved all your contacts to the exchange server yourself.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember a "merge" option.

So if I got to sync via Exchange, which would be syncing the same calendar (just via a different method), you think it will wipe out the other stuff? I don't' know - I thought there was an option to have multiple calendars on your iPhone and the way I see it, I would just end up with two entries for each event.

Lightbulb Deleting calendars from iPhone

Hi, I was going to ask the very same question but then had a lightbulb moment If you hook up your iPhone to iTunes ready to sync simply create a blank 'new' calendar in iCal and just select that blank calendar in the sync selections in iTunes and at the bottom of the iTunes screen where it gives you the option to replace the calendar entries on the phone, just put a tick by calendar (but ensure you've only selected the blank calendar to sync further up the iTunes screen)! Good luck - I've just done it as I've installed Google Sync on mine via Exchange Server and I can now sync contacts and appointments wirelessly from Google without having to pay a hefty fee to Me.com!!! Good luck.
