    Is there any way to selectively down load contacts fron Outlook i have about 4000 and don't want them all on my phone?

    4000 contacts.... what do you do?

    You can't honestly have an address book that big.

    Yes, create a group within Outlook that contains the contacts you want and then choose just that group to sync in iTunes.

    thanks RIP i've done that but can't figure out how to select only that group.

    You probably made a group when what you need is a new folder under contacts. In the contacts tab in out look right click "Contacts" and select "New Folder" Name it what you want and then drag the contacts you want on your phone to that folder. In iTunes on the info tab, select sync contacts with outlook and selected groups, then select the group you want to sync.
