Default Calendar syncing

Hi all,

I'm new here so be gentle with me!

I have my iPhone and have the Mail funciton syncing nicely with my Hotmail account. I don't have a premium account so was pleasantly surprised when it worked! I saw something on a forum about older accounts having the function for free, so presume it is down to that (my Hotmail account is from September 97).

Anyway, I use the Microsoft Live Calender to keep all my stuff in. I used the Outlook Connector to sync the MS Live Calendar with my desktop Outlook 2007. Plan was to then sync the Outlook 2007 Calendar through iTunes.

However, it seems the Outlook Connector 'just' adds in new Calendars to your Outlook. For example I now have 4 Calendars to view, the default Outlook 'Calendar', and the 3 from MS Live - KD Calender, Birthdays and UK Holidays.

Within Outlook you can use the overlay view to see all the information from all the Calendars within one tab. That is fine.

However, the iTunes / Outlook sync is just enabled...so far as I can see...with the standard Outlook Calendar. I can't choose to sync KD Calender which has come over from MS Live.

Is there a clever way to merge all these Calenders, automatically, so that everything from MS Live is stored in the Outlook Calendar? That way everything I have in MS Live will be synced onto my iPhone.

I don't use the Outlook on my desktop, it is purely a proxy between MS Live and the iPhone. It is ALMOST a good solution, and I have gotten everything over to my iPhone via a C&P. But ideally I don't want to have to C&P all the entries from the MS Live Calendars into the default Outlook Calendar before syncing with iTunes.

Any suggestions?!

Sorry I didn't read your whole post...I'm in class right now. Google Sync will allow you to sync calendars very easily.
