wifi not working during call

at home, my iphone's wifi works fine but if i try to use it while on a phone call it doesn't work. my husband's wifi works WHILE on a phone call. anyone know why the two iphones are acting different?

the only difference i can think of is that i use a bluetooth headset and he uses the headsets that came with the phone. can this be my problem? i've already tried resetting the network and reconnecting and still the same problem.

any help would be much appreciated. thx!
