Wi-fi dead

MY Iphone (1.1.3) was hacked using Ziphone (in Australia) and Wi-Fi worked for first 5 minutes then dies. When i go into general it says No Wi-Fi and is grey. When i go into general > about there is no Wi-Fi address.

Everything else works well on the phone, I have tried new sim, different Wi-Fi networks to no avail and have tried restoring and using ziphone again on both mac and pc.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

i've been having wifi problems as well (1.1.4 JB'n w/ziphone).

i was just using SSH last week, so there is a strong possibility that it is my network... it's sunday, i'm too lazy to mess with it now.

I have tried again using ziphone 2.5 and upgraded to 1.1.4 and agina no wi-fi, i know its not hardware because it sometimes works. Also now anyone stored in contacts will not alert me when they call, lots of missed calls. Starting to wonder if the phone is worth it.

yeah, it's been working fine for me lately.

does yours work before you jailbreak?

reboot? hard reboot? restore then see if it works without the jail break?
