WEP and WPA cracking - iPhone 3G

Hey guys I have a great idea. Someone should develop an application that will crack the key to a wireless network when it is discovered by the iPhone. Please, if this has already been done, let me know or take this idea to someone who can actually create this app.

Hmmm... Interesting, but if you were to crack ito one of my networks your phone would be automaticlly uploaded with a deadly virus, which would melt your OS. So don't even try with one of my networks

by the way for cracking wep password for wireless internet connection people usually using aircrack-ng last time i heard it can be used on iphone. but who knows i haven't try it yet.since it is forbidden to publish that kind of link then i might suggest you to search it at google by search 'aircrack-ng'

I would be very surprised to learn that the iPhone has monitor mode capable drivers that would allow the requisite packet capturing for aircrack-ng.

As for WPA, that is extremely processor intensive, as the same pass phrase on a different AP with a different SSID will yield different encryption keys - so essentially it's a dictionary attack on the SSID hoping to yield the passphrase. I doubt the battery would last even if the processor is up to the challenge.

That is why I us the 27 numbers encryption

27? Is that the 128 WEP? I thought it was 26..
