You are probaly right, it is 26. Its a pain to do it too, so easy to make a typing error.

If you have the option to enter an alphanumeric passphrase, I recommend not using a word at all. Instead, pick a favorite line from a movie or song, and use the first letter of each word as your passphrase. So, if your favorite tune was "Stairway To Heaven", then your line of choice might be, "There's a lady who knows all the glitters is gold and she's buying the stairway to heaven", making your passphrase "talwkatgigasbtsth". This is easy to remember, easy to type, will never get hacked in a dictionary attack, and is a seriously formidable challenge to all but the best rainbow table attacks.

Recently I was reading here and there and I came up with a method to install aircrack on my iphone. However, I can't get it running...

I have an 8g iPhone 3g (2.1 FW) quickpwned

Here's a brief guide of how do i did it:

1. You need:
a)make
b)GNU C Compiler (gcc)
c)toolchain (2.0)
d)of course.. the bash terminal
* I downloaded every one from cydia and installed them in this order and then I restarted my iphone.

2. Then, I downloaded the latest aircrack-ng (1.0) from the aircrack web page (<link removed by Moderator>)

3.Once the file was in my computer I uploaded it to my iphone using IphoneBrowser but it also can be done via Secure Shell (ssh).
Once you already have the iphone browser up and running and your iphone connected, send your aircrack-ng-1.0-rc1.tar.gz to your /var directory (drag and drop).

4. After this, in your iphone, invoke your terminal and log in as root. You can do this typing "su" and then entering your passwd.
*For some users, the "default" passwd that the quickpwn assign you is dottie or alpine try with one of those. if not, try the command sudo (available in cydia)

5. Go to your /var directory, and un-tar your aircrack-ng:
cd /var
tar -xvzf aircrack-ng-1.0-rc1.tar.gz (also: tar -xvzf *.tar.gz)

6. Once decompressed, go to the new directory created (cd aircrack-ng-1.0-rc1)

7. Type: make
*this command will compile the program for further installation

8. Finally, type: make install

The final result is the aircrack-ng suite installed on your iphone, but I'm stucked because once I want to start my airmon-ng, it gives me a "Wireless Tool Not found" error, and with the aircrack-ng command, the system just kill it immediately.

Any more hints?
