Sony VIAO and Ipod Touch..Pls help Guyz!

hey guyz,


i have an ipod touch and a Sony VAIO....................


my VAIO is connected to a net connection, is there anyway i can set my laptop to act as a wireless hotspot for my ipod touch, without using a wireless router, so that i can surf the net in my net ipod touch??

i have already tried that adhoc network setting , but my ipod touch doesnt find the network i create.....

is there any other way guyz??

for ur info: i am using Windows XP Pro in my laptop...it has built in wifi...

I'm not sure if the iphone can do a "peer to peer" connection for internet access. You would first have to set the vaio for peer to peer and then see if the iphone can see it as a viable connection.

hey, thx, but i have already tried that....(adhoc..), but ipod doesnt find the connection...any other way or app for dat?

heyy,,, anyhow , my ipod found the connection i created and got connected , but the net still isnt work!!...wat to do?
