And it's not looking good, after a lot of "fix and research" restore, delete, check etc and according to several forums the problem could be a hardware issue and not software related... Have you heard about the "commboard"? This litle piece of the device could be toasted and it controls GPRS, BT and of course the Wifi, replace the piece is something difficult and find it could be a pain in the neck, moreover, it costs around 100-150$.
