Default No-Wifi

I have open Wifi here at work and at home.

Clicking on Settings, Wifi is Grey'd out and says No-Wifi. I can't even click on it to add stuff like a non-broadcast SID network or anything.

I have done everything but a full reset.

Power Cycled (Rebooted), Reset Network settings, and Reset all Settings. Still "No-Wifi".

Phone is not JailBroken

When you say it is greyed out, is your WiFi turned on? If a network is not hidden, you should see it automaticly when WiFi is turned on. I would verify that WiFi is working using another device like a laptop.

To reiterate the issue, clicking Settings, and trying to goto Wifi, it was just grey'd out, and you couldn't activate it. Pressing the icon did nothing.

Took it to the Genious Bar at the apple store, and the tech said that most likely the WLAN card had come unsoldered to the board. he said he had only seen this one other time in this particular store.

End result, they gave me a new iPhone. Took it home, hopped on my Wifi no problems, everything re-synced, zero downtime pretty much.
