iPhone cannot connect to xxxxxx network

Here is the situation:

I just had to have my iPhone replaced because it wouldn't pick up any wireless networks. They gave me a new iPhone 3G and moments after it worked just fine for WiFi. Now a week later my phone finds the network and tries to connect then I get that message that the phone cannot connect. I am running the latest 3.1.2 OS with 3G on. Have tried a hard reset, on-off, and a restore to new. Nothing worked.

I can't imagine that I have that bad of luck to have another iPhone go bad, so any other suggetions?

have you reset your network settings?

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that. Reset the network settings.

Try selecting forget whatever network your phone is picking up (are you using wifi at home?) Do a hard reset and then re-enter your routers password or see if it will connect to wifi spot.
