Default How fast is YOUR Wifi?

How fast is your Wifi speeds on your iPhone or iPod Touch? NOT YOUR COMPUTER!

    Please post:
    Your method of testing.
    Your download speed (in kb/s).
    Your upload speed (in kb/s).
Device model (iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G, etc).
    Your maximum down/up speeds available.

I get 300~kb/s down, 30kb/s upon my iPhone 3G. I tested it through the Speedtest app that is available for free in the App Store. My maximum DL speeds through my ISP is around 800kb/s while my UL speed is around 40kb/s.

For the sake of consistency, I'll use the same tools as the first responder:

Your method of testing. Speedtest App
Your download speed (in kb/s). Avg 5894 Kb/s Max 5894 Kb/s (seems odd they're the same)
    Your upload speed (in kb/s). Avg 688 Kb/s Max 723 Kb/s
Device model (iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G, etc). iPhone V1

PC test scores, using testmy.net: Download : 6382 Kbps, Upload: 1025 Kbps

Huh! Your scores made me look at my history in the speedtest app, it's funny my wifi download speeds have more than been cut in half in the last month. Upload is still around the same but download has gone from an average of 4500 Kb/s to around 1200 Kb/s. The only thing that has changed is an update to 2.2.1 and re-jailbreak.

I'm stock, 2.2.1. Try resetting your network settings... or forgetting your wifi network then rejoining it.

I'm not talking about the internet speed on your computer, I'm talking about the speed of the internet on your iPhone.
