help please

i cant connect my iphone to anything, not my belkin or my next door neighbours router or my mams. However i can connect to things like the cloud and btanywhere.

it just comes up unable to join selected network

Are the networks you are trying to connect with encrypted? If so, are you entering the correct encryption key?
Is the phone at least able to see the networks you are trying to connect with?

Can see the network and connect to it, safari just says cannot find server

I had this problem with my laptop a while back. I was connecting to teh router with no problem but I couldn't get online for the life of me. It turns out that the internet connection wasn't active even though the router said it was. I could try resetting the router and making sure you can get online using a computer and then try connecting again on the iPhone.
