I'm able to see WiFi networks including if they are locked or not. On unlocked locations, I have it set to "DHCP" and I can see the IP addy (10.10.5.178), subnet mask, router, and DNS locations. I have no idea what renew lease does, but I've tried pushing that as well. I have the HTTP proxy set to "off". Ive tried on several networks, including my own which is open, and
When I try connecting to Safari I get the following message: "Safari can't open the page because it could not connect to the server".
I've had my phone for several months and never been able to get on any WiFi network. Today I'd like to try to figure out why since Edge is driving me nuts!
Sounds like you're doing everything right; I would have to venture a guess that your iPhone is defective. Suggest you take it to an Apple store for them to check out.
well, the alternative is to contact Apple Care and they will ship you a box to ship back to them. Turn around is about 48 hours.
