I think that an app with millions of downloads should cater to each individual person. If one person doesn't like the button placement they should change.
"What about switching swap and shuffle" is an ambiguous question/statement. I don't understand your rationale, either. Why not just rephrase your question rather than becoming annoyed and saying "did you not read my post??" We aren't idiots and we did actually read your post; we just don't know why you want them repositioned. The only buttons I'd like moved are play and recall. I accidentally recall tiles multiple times a day due to the proximity of the two.
Sorry I don't think you're idiots, I just thought I my post was pretty detailed. Swap (which becomes recall when tiles are on the board) and shuffle being switched would separate play and recall, solving the problem you are describing that also irritates me multiple times a day. Shuffle becomes inactive when tiles are on the board
Gotcha. But it definetly wasn't detailed and clear, so the curt reply threw me off. Anyway, I do agree that moving the play and recall buttons farther apart would make it easier to not inadvertently hit recall when trying to play a word.
On that note moving any of the buttons away from one another would make inadvertent hitting of them non existent. But that might put another next to one that cause it to be inadvertently hit. Thus the circle continues.
That's the only one I have a problem with and there is a free spot next to it. The 'more' button is used much less frequently than 'play', and people won't be looking at the board when they hit it, so it makes sense to me.
You don't look at the board when you hit the other buttons? This might be the reason for some of the inadvertent hits. You know I'm poking fun of course.
The only button I (try to) hit when I'm looking at the board rather than the button itself is 'play'. Not sure why I can't train my eyes to look down at that button and focus on it before pressing it.
No have you played scramble with friends? They make you buy tokens to play even on the paid version!!
Yeah it's unreal, I couldn't believe it. You can get free ones, but you have to wait TEN MINUTES to get ONE token which gives u one three minute game. Ridiculous
My wife is addicted to that game.... I never got into it much for one all my words are rejected and I know they words cause we use em all the time here in the south
