Which screen protector?

    Hi Folks,

I'm hoping someone can help me before I waste more money on this problem. I'm a new iPhone owner and I got a screen protector when I purchased it. At first it was quite nice but it covered every millimeter of the screen. This became a problem when I got my incase case. The edges of the case touched the edge of the protector just enough to bubble the protector along the edges of the screen. This drove me nuts.

Today I bought the Tru Protection screen protector and the size is perfect. They leave just a tiny wee bit of the edges so the cases don't interfere with it. The look of it sucks though. The last protector was vivid and sharp. This one makes my screen look sandy and dull.

What can I get that will give me the best of both worlds? Something glossy, and clear that won't push up against my case?

    Thanks in advance.

Possibly look into a screen protector for the original iPhone. I know the screen size is the same as far as resolution, but the glass is a different size. My friend has a 3G and I gave him a screen protector for my then V1, and it left some showing around the edges.

Where is your incase rubbing against the screen protector (bottom, sides, top, or just all around)? I've heard of some people sanding down their inner lip of the incases, since it's a bit too thick, which solved the rubbing issue.

In terms of getting the most vivid and clear screen protector, look into this one:

It's a little expensive, but it's probably the most clear/vivid screen protector on the market.

The Crystal films have that same sandy look as this one. A buddy of mine has it and I was trying to avoid it. I'm after something glossy and smooth.

Are you sure you're looking at the same one? Power support makes 2 different screen protectors: Crystal Clear and Anti Glare. The anti glare for sure has that sandy look.

i think you should check out the SGP screen shields... they come in anti-glare and crystal film... you can check these out at sgpstore.com or wirelessrage.com... if you choose to check out wirelessrage.com use punisher08 for the coupon code to get 10%off... these screen shields are the best and they don't bubble up when using slider style cases like the incase slider

the crystal is well crystal clear with no look to it at all. You cant tell its on there when looking at the screen straight on.

yep cant even tell! i personally like the anti-glare but you do have to get used to the texture of it and the screen does look a bit off but its well worth not having any fingerprints on the screen to me :)

Thanks for the tip R.E.L.! Those SGPs look awesome so I had to order a pack. They're less expensive than Power Support and the quality looks much nicer too. I actually had trouble locating them at sgp but found them at wirelessrage with free shipping! Great deal $9.98 with the discount code applied and free shipping!

If you are in a room with windows and there is always a terrible glare, then anti glare is the way to go because it reduces the glare with the picture. If you want a bright, easily visible and clean picture, then use the crystal clear film. I think that crystal clear is the way to go.

Thanks free2rhyme, I just placed an order with them and the discount code worked :)
I ordered a few of the screen protectors you recommended and a blue SPG ultrathin case (it seems identical to the Moshi cases which I absolutely love but aren't available in blue).
