You really want to go from Cairo to Amish country? Haven't you noticed I'm going insane? I used to be normal.

Nope. I was just thinking about finding a job there for the summer, just for the fun of it, specifically June, but I don't think I'll be able to since I myself cannot afford it at the moment and my father is paying for my sisters' trip to Europe with their school.

I have a summer course that starts July 1st and ends on the 22nd, perhaps things might get better by then and I can travel in August.

Wow! I cannot believe I have never heard of Dean Martin before listening to a track of his in an episode of Freaks and Geeks. His voice is amazing and he has tons of charisma, which is more than I can say about most singers these days.

What kind of laptop?? I sure hope it's an Apple! :)

That was the best decision I made when I decided to get a MacBook Pro. My Windows laptop had too many issues.

As long as its a good processing system. From what you said, it seems like a nice one that won't have any major issues. :)

Then you should get the HDD checked out since it's a brand new laptop. It's either that or the optical drive. If it's the optical drive then you should have no problem because that's normal, however if it's the HDD then the cable connected to the board might not be all the way in or something. As long as you're under warranty you should make sure everything is okay before it's too late.

Congratulations on the laptop, by the way! :D

Thanks! I'm running tests on it. I think I'd just return it to the store for an exchange, as office depot doesn't have returns. But I wouldn't want one anyway. But should I have HP warranty it or exchange it at office depot?

I am not sure, to be honest, because I've never dealt with Office Depot before; however, BestBuy and other stores like it will sell you a product, like an Apple MacBook, for instance, and the warranty will be with Apple. Meaning if anything goes wrong, you take the device to Apple rather than BestBuy.

I started watching season 1 in Dec on HBO vod so I was spoiled when I had to wait until April for the 2nd season and then have to wait a week for each episode to air.

You know, I absolutely dislike having to wait a whole week for the next episode for shows! But I get through the week and then it's time for the next episode. Patience is a tough thing! :D

Installed Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview 2 last night and playing with it now. So far it seems to be great! It's much smoother and snappier than Lion, in my opinion, and I feel like they have done something different with the display or graphics since they seem so much better and high definition now, lol. There are also a couple of new things I noticed, like the Notifications tab and the Messages application like the one in iOS; of course it lets you contact iOS users directly and at no cost if you're over wifi, I believe.

Below is a screen shot of the Notifications tab I was talking about, which is pretty awesome and was much needed.

Safari also seems to be a newer version than the one I have on Lion, or maybe I just feel that way. It's pretty amazing, though, and seems to have become my default browser from now on, replacing Google Chrome. It is version: 5.2 (8536.6.1); I'm not sure if that's newer than the one we have on Lion but I am too lazy to check anyway.

Just thought I should give a quick, small review of my experience with Mountain Lion so far; it has not disappointed.
