I have an iMac G4, and according to the spec page, you need USB 2.0, how do I know if I have it??

Find your Mac at a site like everymac.com or apple-history.com for all the specs.

The iPhone will work with USB 1.1 but it will be very slow syncing. There is no way to guarantee that future phones, software updates etc. will sync over USB 1.1
