    This is a new method and it seems to support all basebands and latest iOS 5.1, the only must is a Jailbroken device, here is a free guide:

    I didn't try since my iphone 4G runs on 4.2.1 still, I was aware about the baseband upgrade. But I think it might be worth for people on 5.1 with latest baseband ;)
