1 simple statement stirred up 14 pages of posts and now you are back, lol. I would like to welcome you back with open arms Kathie63. I know you gave a us a brief explanation, but if possible I would like to hear all the pros and cons that made you flip back. Thank you Kathie63. In the end is you service provider any better?

How bad was your battery performance? Please tell me you did not install a task killer on the thing. Anyway, personal fit is the most important feature :D.

It all depends on the android model. My friend has a captivate and his battery lasts as long as my iPhone. It all depends on processor and battery plus hardware optimization

I don't see what your deal is. I have these apps that do exactly what you want:
    Status notifier
    Live weather
And you can get a lockscreen to have live weather on it. Yea it's annoying that apple breaks the jailbreak on each update, so I just wait till a jail break comes out until I update. It's something I'll live with to not have to take a step back and get an android phone.

I had to update mine it had an issue so I had to bring it to apple so I had to update it before. I'm always jailbroken the point is without jailbreak iOS is stale.

Yes I agree. I guess I see your point now. When I had to wait three weeks one time for a jailbreak to come out, it was quite painful.

Yea and that's where I am lol. Honestly without my jailbreak it's dreadful and that goes to my point iPhone needs jailbreak to be as fun or custom or functional as android now is

Just be patient. There will be a jailbreak soon. I know how you feel for sure, but I still don't think it's worth switching. Next time you need to restore your phone, cut the search for update options off on iTunes so your not forced to update.

The bad thing is...apple really doesn't care. If they did, they would stop their controlling crap. I get just as annoyed at it as you, but really, there is no phone that tops the iPhone. I guess it's one of those things where apple did it first. Many many people I meet that have iPhones barely know how to work it, all they know and all they care about is that they HAVE an iPhone. So the problem is apple isn't getting hit hard by people jumping ship. They are still making millions of dollars. I wish they would change to, and I've went to best buy a couple times and was planning on jumping ship, mainly because of shoddy Att service...I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Why? Every phone I looked at I felt like I was taking a step back. I could not find a phone that had everything I wanted, except for the iPhone 4. I really like the support for the iPhone. I mean, how many stores in your area stock an evo screen? A nexus screen? A replacement battery? Any parts for those droid phones? There are about 4 iPhone repair place within a five mile radius of my work. They stock everything to fix them. I actually fix iphones for people...to me it means alot. It means to me that the iPhone is a device worth repairing.

Yea definitely agree but I will say this the hardware is beautiful but when the OS starts lacking which I feel it is ( hence jailbreaking ) it gets to the place where you say I need certain things from my phone does it match up to what I need and a non jailbroken iPhone to me doesn't meet those standards. So unless I keep jailbreaking I feel like I do not enjoy my phone

LOL I can't believe there is 16 pages of discussion! Here goes:

US Celllular-(PROS)--Better signal strength, belief project where you could earn points towards your bill, purchase of products, lower bill, one contract and you're done, faster phone upgrades, unlimited messaging, unlimited incoming calls. (CONS)--low data allowance, the HTC battery sucked, had to close apps, watch how many widgets you had open otherwise it would suck battery life.

AT&T/iphone (PROS): unlimited data, iphone is awesome and easy to use, itunes syncing. (CONS) Poor service, higher bill.

I guess I thought the grass was greener over there, got there and found out it wasn't. LOL I AM HAPPY TO BE BACK AND WILL NOT LEAVE AGAIN!!

When I got my new 32 gb it was like getting my first one!
