No tears. My wife said she had her believing it for about 10 minutes.

Sometimes I ask myself why I try to understand their situation. Their fuse is quite short when I do something wrong, but I have to keep extending mine for theirs. <rant over>

OMG. Next phone 4.7" and the one after that 0". I totally want this game changer.

My daughter bought her first smartphone yesterday. Drumroll.... She is not a big fan of iPhones so she bought an HTC Evo Shift because she wanted the physical keyboard. Honestly it is a nice phone, beautiful screen and a very responsive touchscreen. I still wouldn't trade it for my iPhone, but I don't want to take anything away from it and my daughter absolutely loves it. A friend of mine and his wife have the same phone and love it and recommended this for her. We looked at a ton of phones on the big 3 carriers and only found 2 phones with a slide out keyboard. She has 2 weeks to make sure she likes it.

Ahhh, they grow up so fast. It probably seems like just yesterday when she learned how to use a mouse correctly.

I am just happy that she can buy her own phone and pay for the monthly bill

AHHHHHHHH I am loosing my mind.
Seems like everytime I spotted a house it's snatched away from me.
I saw one a bid smaller what I like (no garage) but everything else fits.
I applied as soon as it was listed my chances are good. The listing agent says he prefers us over 3 others (we talking this house was listed 2 days ago) but would like for us to come and see it first. I think he just wants to get a better feel about us. Anyway we are ready to sign the lease. The school district is prime and the area one of the best in US. Ahhhhhh let them pick us pleeeeeeeeease. We are ready to move ! He will take it off the market and let us know if we can come up to see it and sign the lease.

I remember when Hubby and I purchased our house we were up against two other couples. One bid lower than the asking price and the other bid way way way way way HIGHER than the asking price, like $100,000, knowing they were gonig to get it. We offered the asking price. We almost lost to the people who bid way higher but because they had demands and wanted a closing that was three months out, we got the house! I was so happy. I had no idea we were up against others until we got the call. I had no idea how the house buying game was played. I just knew we would get it and we did.

The moral of this story is if you're going to bid more money to be sure you get an acceptance on an offer for a house, be ready to close immediately. Don't try to make the seller wait! Not a good move. They were so stupid! I still laugh when I think of those stupid idiots!
