Tell them u want whole home DVR service, and that u record a lot of shows for your family.
They may ask for 99 bucks more.
Well worth it for the extra 3 tuners and 1TB hard drive, if you time slip your favorite shows....

for $99 that's well worth it, 2 tuners aren't enough, my fiancee needs to record mob wives while watching desperate housewives right before the real housewives of NJ. I'll call tomorrow and order it, I'm done for today. 4 & 1/2 hours plus a dominos large bacon and mushroom pizza, the guy left, now all I want to do is sit and watch TV.

Make sure to download the Directv iPhone app and the iPad app also. The iPhone app is great to record shows when you're away from the house. The iPad app can be used as a remote also which is great if you want to mess with your girlfriend while she is watching tv, lol.

I downloaded the app but it won't let me login to my account, from the reviews it seems that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Thanks for the tip, I'll do that and blame it on you :D

I can't wait to change my services I have had the worst luck with TV and Internet.
But then who knows I can not find a place. I really do not want to buy again. I don't even know if we like MD and when we move again. Certainly stressed about this move. There is so much more hanging for us. And sons first year in middle shool (public too).

Hubby is retiring out of the Army and there is a job he really likes on Ft. Meade. There was others we looked at but we mostly did not like the locations. I made my mind up on puplic school for middle school ( they have some oppertunities privat schools not always offer) so school district is a big factor. Once we decided on MD I looked at locations from school ratings to average age and % of married people. I like Serverna Park or Ellicott City/Clarksville. Once son has left the nest (yeah right he is 11 now) we probably travel a bid and look for our final destination. DC is so close and there are great oppertunities for hubby as well. But who knows we may absolutly hate it and decide to move again. We could go anywhere we like (kinda).

Must be hard to move around so much and start over every couple of years. Do you keep in touch with any of your friends from the other bases you guys have been stationed at?

Son is actually the one who keeps his friends they text and play online either minecraft or X-box and facetime.
Hubby has friends mostly from his SF times.
I am the one who really never makes friends anymore. Most just tapered off to Christmascards once a year typ of thing.
I made friends on a forum I had been one and met a bunch of great ladies. Actually if I go to MD with son in Springbreak ( to put a deposit down on a house hopefully) I will drive down to VA Beach to visit one of them. I am really all about my family. It's only us. Hubby, son. me and the 2 Dachshunds. They are also my friends. Oh I fogot I got my family at EIC!
By the way if MD is really happening Benny is just an hour away!
