Good morning everyone. Today is going to be a tough one - non stop meetings from now until 5:30. My calendar looks horrendous.

New shampoo is all zesty and fresh smelling. Trying to use that to catapult me into some sort of productivity today. At least, that's the hope.:coffee:

This got me more fully awake this morning. It's one of the gates going into our community pet park, covered in centipedes. Nearly put my hand right in them as I opened the gate. We had way too warm a winter this year - seems like the insect population has gone crazy, even if these aren't officially classed as insects.

I am surprised that birds are not picking to eat that massive display of food.

For some reason the pic wouldn't display on my computer but now it has. Holy Smokes! That would make me itch.

Why aren't the birds having their way with these bugs!! Maybe they've had their fill of them. I do see a few gaps in the group. Maybe some birds thinned out the herd a lot already.

Not sure why the birds hadn't got after them more. I was mainly just thinking that I hope none of them are from this giant species that we get in Central Texas. These are seriously evil buggers - a client of mine used to have one of these in a terrarium type enclosure. They called it Godzilla and they let it have death matches against tarantulas and other opponents - none of 'em survived.

OMFG!!! MuthaF**K! Yup I had to say all that with the stars and all because I HAVE NEVER EVER, EVER NEVER SEEN ANY BUG LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE!

Keep them in Texas, better yet, send them to hell!

If I had one in my house I would just be a killing fool! There's got to be a spray that can kill it. I don't think one of my shoes would do it. Besides that I don't want to clean it up after.

Thanx for sharing. :cautious: Let the nightmares begin!

I guess they are kinda magnificent in some ways - but I swear they are mean as hell. Apart from Godzilla in his enclosure I've seen one on our back patio years ago. Their sting is a bit worse than Texas scorpions, so I'd just much rather not run into them at all.

They should be mean. What would make anyone think they would be sweet? LOL!! U see that red end of the tail. I think that is a warning color and area.

Do they make noise too? Hissing? Anything?

    Mean, mean, evil bug!

Is that one in the pic Godzilla? He needs a leash.

What the hell is that? I cannot imagine what I would do if I see something like that infront of me. Even little spiders scare and disgust me.

I don't think they hiss or make much noise. That's not Godzilla - it's just a random pic from the web. Pretty sure the red section is the head of the monster.
