I'm a cross between The Fanboy/Overuser/Desktop/Hacker lol.

Overuser and "wanabe" hacker!

Yup, that sounds about like me.

These are funny. Aww! I love when I see Senior Citizens doing stuff and having technology. Usually their kids or grand kids bring them into the fold. As long as they are willing to try it they should have it. My mother-in-law has an iPhone and it's cool. Although it took her a full year and 1/2 to finally get the thing synced. She wouldn’t do it. She lives too far from us for us to go over to her house and do it for her, but recently someone synced her up and it’s even better for her now. I’m proud of her.

I am not a Complainer, possibly an Overuser cause I'm on the iPhone as much as I can be, but I'm not rude to others, I will hold a conversation and I will watch a movie or TV show without it in my hand. I'm not a Hacker, Not a Deskjob person, Can't afford to be a Fanboy, and not Unappreciative.

Maybe an 8th type of user is the Happy to Have a Decent Phone user -

This user Appreciates the phone for what it is and what it does. They are not unrealistic and realizes that the phone is not magic, it is fallible and if treated wrong it can break. They also know and respect the fact that it is a computer and like all computers, it needs down time too.

This user will not jailbreak, although if feeling adventurous just might do it. Never say Never.

This user accessorizes with cases to match outfit or mood.

Protects the phone with plugs for the earphone jack and the charging jack at all times.

Has a Desktop charger everywhere, 1 at work, 1 in the home office, 1 by the bed, 1 in the living room, just about anywhere the phone will be and may need a charge, and the dock is Apple OEM of course.

This user is not a snob and poo poos others who not only don't have a clue, but does weird and unnecessary things with their phone be it iPhone or not.

This user understands that the iPhone is not for everyone and accepts it.

This user will not get into Carrier wars or which phone is better wars with others who just don't get it.

This user knows that to understand the iPhone revolution is not to look down your nose at those who just don't get it. And for those who just don't get it, leave them be, either they will get it one day or they are destine to keep using their phones and hate the iPhone, either way, leave them alone and change the subject when the "Mine is better" conversation comes up.

This user will buy Apps and categorize them. This user will purge unused Apps and keep their pictures categorized as not to have a mosh of crap on their phone. They will have moves and TV shows on their phone and share with others.

This user is a superior classy user to say the least and they are just darn Happy to Have a Decent Phone for Gods Sakes!

I am that user and I bet there are others too.

I'm "The Overuser" and The Hacker". I'd say mostly the Overuser, though, since I have a hard time putting my iPhone down....

I probably fall more into this class but am a senior and maximize the utility of my iPhone and iPad to a far greater extent then many of you "juniors", so cut us old guys some slack. lol.

I also found it very interesting that "The Hacker" in the graphic is a she. I usually don't think of females as that type of user. But I know of a couple here on eiC that could probably fit the bill!

I got an iPhone because it's a phone, iPod, gps, camera, can web surf, text, video record. Those are the main things.

The main reason I got an iPhone is because I had an htc and while it did those things it did them like CRAP

I know a lot of people that switched to iPhones for the same reason.

Overused....but I don't celebrate holidays.
