    1. Insert DVD/Quit DVD player
    2. Launch Handbrake. "Detected Volume" will be checked (You can also select to open a DVD_TS folder on your HD).
    3. Open. Choose fps "same as source", encoder "ffmpeg", average bitrate, file format "MP4 file", codecs "MPEG-4 video/AAC audio", file "desktop/movie.mp4, audio: sample rate 44100, bitrate 128
    4. Go to picture settings/check keep aspect ratio if you want your movie in the same proportions as the original, decrease the width/ height to much smaller like 448/192 for a wide screen, crop "automatic", don't check deinterlace picture or useless openGL effects
    5. close that window
    6. check rip.
    7. rename "movie.mp4" file "whatevermovie.mp4"
    8. open iTunes and add 7. to Library
    9. (make sure iTunes is upgraded to 7.3) and in the video tab, choose "sync movies"
    10. Sync and enjoy

I am trying to get the Original Disk one of Band of Brothers to burn/rip or whatever you call it.

When I open Handbrake it doesn't do anything but ask me to browse for the source... Then I click on the Video_TS File and it says ERROR: No Title(s) found.

    It does this every time.

    PLEASE help.

    Bad DVD?

(Does Handbrake give you the same problems with another DVD?)
It sounds to me like a bad DVD. Try to clean it and see if it helps. If not, try to copy the VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD directly unto your hard drive. If you get an error message while copying, then it's probably damaged. If you can copy the whole folder on your HD, try to open it directly from there with handbrake.

Thanks geordisjd. I ended up using DVD encrypter (I think) and now I'm using Videora to convert it. It's almost done, been taking FOREVER. I'll let you know if that works.

    I appreciate the help.

But back on subject. I got it to work!!!!!!!!

DVD Encrypter + Videora does it. WOO HOO.

    Thanks for the help all.

The iphone will full screen it for you if you want. Little box in the top right hand corner when you are playing the movie.

Handbrake was a mess and didn't work for me. Videora kept crashing my computer. So now I use Claddvd.net to rip the dvd's to my PC and then Super Converter to encode them to a format compatible with Iphone. It works wonderful I have had only one problem and that is because my dvd was dirty, cleaned it and it worked right after that. I have done Training Day, Hustle and Flow, Wedding Crashers, and 40 Year Old Virgin.

    Format?

Check the movies' format. It should say .m4v or m4a. If it says something else like .mov, it will play in iTunes, but not on iPhone. Use Quicktime Pro to export it to iPod or iPhone format and and it will work.

I'm uploading my 1st 1 now it was a test run cuz it was my 1st 1 using Videora so it's Smallville Season 5 Episode 22 I'll post link later.

do you have to convert movies for ipod in itunes? when i checked the original copy of my mp4 it looked the same but had a lower bitrate - looks like itunes bumped up the bitrate a little - anyways its too time consuming!
