I'm not sure if this is the correct area to post this question.

I am wondering if it is possible to you the iphone to control and power small motors such as a little 5v or 9v motor? I have a few ideas for some fun Iphone accessories that would work best if they were powered from the phone itself. If this is possible, how would someone go about setting that up?

I found a description of the plug connector and what each port is for but i do not have a great understanding of electronics. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
