I saw these first, too. But Hue is coming tomorrow instead of next March. And, while a little more costly, the Hue lights can change colors and the GreenWave lights can only do on/off/bright/dim, as I read it.

Well, they are on the Apple Store App now. I will go to the Store this morning to see if they have them locally.

They'd better work damned well for $200 worth of light bulbs.

In theory this an amazing idea. The length of time they will last to remote operation of. However comma how often do you really need to dim a light? I mean really?
Novelty aspect is amazing. Much like Siri. Cool at first. Not used after a few weeks.

And they'll sell a zillion of them because they're in the Apple store.

As George Carlin said so many years ago, "If you nail two things together that have never been nailed together before, some schmuck will buy it!" :D

    I wouldn't pay $200 for it, though - I don't think.

I use this as an example daily.
"your iPhone will do almost everything now. Siri will even date you. Only thing it doesn't do is dispense tooth paste, but wait for next years model. It just might by then. "

I'm all for home automation. My A/V network is pretty extensive. However, I've never had any desire to set this kind of thing up. I guess I'm just not that into light.
