Can't really say that mine's any better. But it's not any worse either so that's something.

I guess I'll wait for 5.0.2 because this didn't fix it for me. My battery drops percentage as I'm looking at it. I got 4 1/2 on a full charge Down to 1%.
I read that apple is aware of that and that they are working on a fix. Ok, I believe you.

I applied the update OTA this morning when the iPhone 4 was at 100% battery. My usage has been no different than any other day, but my battery drained faster. I never had battery issues before.

Mine seems to be slightly better actually, but i think Apple still needs to give us more power!

I updated to 5.0.1 even though I wasn't having battery issues. I have a 3GS though. Only thing now is my mail icon is missing the notifications. You know the number of new emails.

My battery seemed okay before and not much different after the update.

Indeed, I am. But wasn't sure if it was a joke or not, can't really tell over the internet. Used to people trashing everyone on internet forums, thought "Hondamaker" was doing the same to me.

My battery is sucking 3G just on standby when im out of the house. I left to the movies, had it in my pocket a little less than 2 hours, and I was down 9 percent. There are NO apps on my phone other than facebook, and 3G was turned on. Everything else that you would keep off to conserve battery was off.

You lost your enthusiasm for the iPhone I see. I remember on pre-orders, pre-shipping, pre-arrival you were so exited. Just give it time bro, apple will fix this [round of applause]

We've both been members here for years, and one of the few interactions with me has to be a hostile one? What's up with that?

I don't really notice a difference. 5.0.1 also fixed other issues such as a security breach. My battery isn't too bad though. It might drain just a tad bit more than my iPhone 4.

My battery life on my new iPhone 4s with the ota 5.0.1. has improved tremendously. I was charging it very very frequently on iOS 5.

Quite simply, just being cautious and defending what I thought was a rude comment. Sorry about that =/
