Yeah.. it could be an app that is causing battery drain. possibly not optimized for iOS5, or just something that sucks battery even if it's not open.

Not gonna rush out and grab the update myself. Wait this one out for a bit first.
My luck I'd update and the untethered jailbreak would come out within an hour. Lol

I'm just telling you what apple themselves list on their site. According to them, the 4S has 10% less wifi surfing time, and only 2/3 the standby time the 4 does, and that's what your phone does most of the day.

I can see this question causing a thread derailment. Lol
Hippo is correct. Over the air. But I can think of a zillion of answers.

Welp.. So far after using it, i've seen NO battery improvements whatsoever. Standby is draining just as bad, and I restored it as new after I updated it OTA.

I'm charging the battery right now and i'll see what I get tomorrow, so I don't know yet, as far as OTA it was very easy.

I love the OTA updates, turning on my 4 1/2 year old Dell laptop is a chore, takes about 15 - 20 minuts to boot up to a point when I can bring up iTunes and then another few minutes to come up, pretty sure it needs RAM and some free memory, have about 3 gigs left. Back to OTA updates, took all of about 5 minutes for my iPhone and my iPad.

Yes and it was 100% standby.... Also I still got the usage bug showing same amount of standby as I use it... Any way to fix that.. And I should only lose 1% every 2 hours with 200 standby hours... But I lose 3% every hours so 6 times as fast... When you think they come with a fix or is this phone bugged?
