Hey Luckykelleyk! I was wondering that myself. I guess the Snap case would come directly from Incase too. I was thinking this is my Slider case order. I guess I'll know when it comes.

I checked my order with Incase and it says order is still processing but I can't go by that because it says that a previous order of mine with them from February is still processing also and I have received those items already.

Hey! I bet it is the slider because the shipping email for the snap would be from apple, right?

Yeah. I think that would be the case. The free case email shipment should come from Apple. So this had got to be the Slider.

My package for the Incase Slider is Out for Delivery right now. I hope that my husband is home in time to receive it. I text him a note to leave a note for the UPS delivery person to throw my package on our Balcony in case the UPS delivery person doesn't come while hubby is home.

There is a WHITE Slider on the site now! That is awesome! I LOVED my white Slider for the iPhone 3GS! That thing was NICE!

The White one is available on 8/27/10
    Raspberry available 8/23/10
    GunMetal available 8/23/10
    Mauve available 8/16/10

If there were preorders I could just order them all and have them come as available, but no, I've got to order as dated. Yeah, like I wouldn't. Seriously I'll just wait until the 27th when I can get the White and order them all. Maybe by or before then they'll have more colors.

Gotta have my Slider Cases! Gotta have em'!

Okay. I'm home now and my Incase Black, Soft Touch Slider case was waiting for me on my dining room table. YAY!

I opened the packaging and marveled at the new case. It is really nice.

I have a screen protector on the front and one on the back and I have the Antenna covered with a black iColor Wrap protector. Although I knew that my phone would not fit in this case with all that on it, I decided to try just the bottom part to see if it would fit with all that on there, and it did. A little snug, but it fit and it wasn't hard to get off.

I then, got brave and put the top of the case on. Slowly I slid it on taking special care to watch the sides with the volume buttons. It seems Incase made enough room on the sides for the buttons so that when you slide the case on there is enough room no to pop one of the buttons off. The top of the case went on without a problem and it too was easy to get off. WHEW! WOW!

I was so excited I slid the top on and off several times just to make sure this was actually happening, and it was.

Now when I put the bottom on again and secured it as I herd a click, then there was a spot of trouble. it was not as easy to get the bottom off, in fact the more I tried the more my SGP Oleophobic screen shield lifted. Aww No! Okay I didn't panic, I just took the top of the case off first and then went back to the bottom and got that off.

Okay, so, I figured if I want to have a perfect fit, I would have to take the back screen protector off and the side Antenna covers off.

Well, not so fast. Upon further inspection of the phone with the case off, I noticed that the back of the phone had a line down the middle, that I could see and feel. It is fair to say that this could be there just because I have a back shield on my iPhone and if I didn't have it that mark would not be there. However, I know, from my past experiences with the Incase Slider for my 3GS that the guard rails, while helping to protect the back of your phone, they also aid in allowing the trapped dirt to make marks on the plastic of the 3GS. So for what I see here, if I did not have the screen protector on and the antenna covers on there is a possibility that i would not see this mark, but judging from the deepness of the mark, i do think the guard rail will leave a smudge, if you will, down the center of the back of your phone and if dirt gets in the case, it may leave scratches. Those of you who have experienced this with past Sliders know what I'm talking about. Just be weary.

The cut outs for the sleep wake button, the headphone jack as well as the volume buttons and the mute switch are a little deeper recessed than i thought they would be. Its not bad, you just have to get used to it. Depending on the size of your fingers it might take a little effort getting to the sleep wake button. I got used to the way it felt quickly.

All in all I love this case. Although its a snug fit, I will be leaving my back protector on my phone. I do not want to get any scratches on the glass. I appears the only thing that will be saving my glass is my back clear protector so I will leave it on. I will be taking off the side Antenna covers.

The soft touch material feels great. The case is really strong and well made. The included phone holder is strong, attractive and you have two sections for horizontal and landscape viewing. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

    **************
    Update:

I took the back clear protector off. I really didn't want to do it. But I can say its a smooth ride. I still have my side iColor Warps on. I have take n the case on and off and there are no visible scratches or even guard rail marks on the back glass. WOW! I love this case even more now.

But, just to let you know, if you have a front screen protector on your phone, this case will make it bubble and or lift. My SGP Oleophobic has a little bubbling on the sides and a little lifting on the bottom. Still a great case. Now, I can't wait to get the other colors!

Got my Incase Snap today. Not bad, just a basic clear snap-on case. A freebie from Apple, so no complaints here.

Got my slider today and put it on without any screens or protectors - fit perfectly.

I have owned two sliders and have not had a single scratch or permanent mark on the back of my phone after removing it (which was only done once each time upon selling the phone).

When you take the phone out of the case and put it back in, be sure to wipe both very carefully with a microfiber cloth. This ensures dirt won't get in. The fit is tight enough that, should a particle or two come in eventually, it should not get to the main portion (back) of the phone and would likely just collect around the rails.

If you do have dirt on the back of your phone and it causes a scratch, unfortunately, that is a user error. The protection the case provides w/ the rubber is worth an extra minute or two to make sure it is completely clean upon placing it in.

Not at all trying to come down on you, adnurahs, love talking to you. Just informing and explaining.

PS - $35 is a LOT for this case...it should be $25...BUT...compared to what you can buy for $20-25, this is well worth the money $10 more.

Hey trnsilver we're cool. I didn't think you were trying to take a swipe a me. It's cool.

I should have added that I had to, with my 3GS as I will with the iPhone 4, wipe the inside of the case as well as my phone each time I would take the phone out and before I put it back in. I learned that on YouTube watching many slider reviews. That's the best way to do it. I knew about this, but I forgot. It's funny because i remembered when I took my back protector off of my iPhone 4. I started to wipe and I was like, Oh yeah, that's what I have to do each time.

It is user error if you don't follow that one simple rule. But, there was a time when some sand or salt got in my slider case when I had the 3GS and when I took the case off there was a wicked scratch that I could not have prevented even if i were a magician.

$35 is a lot, I always thought so. Sometimes, just sometimes, you can catch someone selling one on eBay for cheap. I guess its a 5 finger discount thing. I never cared how they got them, just that I wasn't paying $35 for it.

Glad you got yours and you like it too. Well I hope you like it anyway.
