Ok this is frustrating. My phone is now jailbroken, and I downloaded the NES application to play Nintendo games, but how do you download the games? I click on the app, and it says No ROMS found, please upload ROMS. How do you upload the ROMs and where do you get them from?

    Follow this guide:

    http://www.everythingicafe.com/foru...-sources-for-maximum-app-selection-18138.html

Then go to All Packages and you should find a download called Big Boss' NES ROMs. This is the easiest way for you right now.

If you need a specific ROM that isn't in that pack, then you'll need to download and install it manually. Simply stated, google "nes roms", download the rom, make sure you unzip, then use WinSCP (on a PC) and go to var/root/Media/ROMs/NES and put your downloaded rom in there.

Which NES do i need to download? There is a NES App by bigboss version 2.0, or a NES Emulator for iPhone?

Bigboss does have his own NES APP besides Bigboss' NES ROMS? NES App listed next to NES Emulator. Two different, is why I asked. The games are listed under his name and the NES is an App with him as contact. Just making sure here?

Does anyone know how to install the most current version of NES.app on to the iPhone? The newest version is 2.0.2. The creator specifically states that he does not maintain Installer.app, which means that the latest version is not available thru Installer. I've read that people were using iBrickr, but it doesn't work with 1.1.1 firmware. I've read the only way is to download the actual 2.0.2 file and then use iPhoneBrowser or WinSCP(i'm using Windows) or some other program. So if anyone knows how to install NES.app without using iBrickr, please list the detailed steps.(for Windows) I'd really appreciate it.

iBricker works just fine with a jailbroken 1.1.1 phone. It won't jailbreak 1.1.1 phones but will allow you to install apps, files, etc...

Thanks for responding... I don't mean to second guess you, but are you sure i can use iBrickr to install NES.app? Because on the iBrickr website it says that iPhones with the 1.1.1 software update DO NOT WORK with iBrickr. It doesn't specify whether the problem is with jailbreaking or installing apps. I have an iPhone with 1.1.1 firmware pre-installed(out of the box) so could i just jailbreak with AppSnapp and then use iBrickr to install the newest version(2.0.2) of NES.app?

AppSnapp will install "Installer" which is sometimes referred to as "AppTap." You will find Installer right on your springboard after you Jailbreak 1.1.1 using AppSnapp or any other automated Jailbreak method out there. Installer is the defacto means for installing new applications on to your iphone using just the phone and your EDGE connection to the internet.

Once Jailbroken, find the Installer icon on your springboard and tap it. Once there tap "Install" at the bottom of the screen, and then scroll down the application list above until you reach the entry labeled "Sources." Tap that, and browse for "Community Sources" and tap it to install it. Run through the motions of installing it by clicking "Yes" or "Ok" to the prompts you'll receive (which are harmless). Once you've installed the "Community Sources" you will have added a new repository of applications to browse, of which includes the NES application you're after.

You can find NES app under the Games section. From that point out you may use iBrickr to install Roms, however I would recommend just downloading Cyberduck if you're on a Mac, or WinSCP if you're on a PC. Both are freeware and work seamlessly with the iPhone. Do a search on these forums for instructions on how to connect to your iphone using WinSCP or Cyberduck, there's an abundance of posts on the subject.

I didn't mean specifically for NES.app, but I do use iBrickr to install files like NES ROMs.
