Just got my Crane stand in. I thought this would work great for the iPad and it does. Each part swivels to put in multiple angles and positions. Sturdy yet portable. I can push home and off buttons and it doesn't MOVE at all. Whatcha think?

Wow $175 including shipping! I'm guessing it must be pretty sweet!:eek:k:eek:k

Hey CJ, are you gonna drop $175 on this baby? I don't think I'll be able to swing it myself!

I paid $155 plus about 7 bucks shipping. This site was for viewing but not where I purchased it.

Well it works for a lot of different equipment as you can see. :)

Your pictures are a little small but its all good I seen the pictures of it on there website. So is this thing designed specifically for the iPad or can you use it for other things as well. 175 bucks is a little steep.

It was designed for musicians and dj's. It holds many things, mixers, turntables, laptops, etc. I saw it and thought it would be great for the ipad because of the many angles you can can use. Each of the 3 sections swivel. I can keep my case on and use landscape or portrait mode. Makes it convenient to use my wireless keyboard too. Yea it has a steep price but I think the versatility and portability of the stand is worth it. It fits perfectly into my desk setup and sits right in front of me. I just reach out and touch.

That's fantastic that it works with the case too! It's also great that when you push the home button that it doesn't slide! I hate that on my iPhone Scosche kickstand case I end up chasing my 3GS all over the desk if I don't use 2 hands.

It's not something you would carry all the time. I think it would be good around family and friends to show off slide shows or let them try it out while on the stand. I have the apple case and the device is not stable while propped if you are touching the screen unless it is laying in the flat propped position. That limits it pretty much to landscape views. Some apps don't rotate. It is indeed very functional.

i also use a Crane stand for iPad when watching movies and using the bluetooth keyboard, one great advantage the Crane stand pro has over other tablet stands is the adjustability. I can adjust up or down to get rid of glare around the room instead of rotating the entire stand and ipad. Also the stand folds up so easily that i use it on my Dj setup. My crane stand bounces back and forth from my desk to Dj booth, i need another. Here are some pics of my current dj setup with ipad and Crane combo
