Is here software I can put on my iMac that detects and films motion thru iSight? Like when someone is around my desk, or messing with my stuff, I can later see who it is and ground them for a week? LOL :tounge:

Haha! As an adult, I can tell you that there is such software (at least for the PC)! Any kind of video capture software for a web cam is capable of it.

Well, any victims yet? I think it would be disgusting to find someone get on your computer and doing something "private" with porn. Or whatever.

If they're a mac user i think theyll know they're being filmed b/c of the green light.

Idk but I've definitely had some ideas....
The software allows setting up a server to stream live video so if I could hide my mac somewhere and have the camera clear, I could use it as a security camera lol.

lol! i think it would be alot easier to get a nanny teddy cam or a clock cam to watch sum1.

I thought this was like to catch someone else getting on the computer and doing something they shouldnt be.

I would think that motion detecting would require some external hardware. I'm sure it's not impossible but you would need something with an infa-red/motion detector like on home automatic spotlights and wire that to a software program to turn the camera on when set off.
