    My Gmail acct stopped working on my MacBook today. I dont know what the deal is here os what I get


    There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “Gmail” or try again.

    The server returned the error: The connection to the server “imap.gmail.com” on port 993 timed out

    I often find gmail (the business edition not the normal one) has significant outages most weeks... Not annoying enough to warrant looking elsewhere but still enough to male you mad!
