I have always kept location services on with past iPhones. I have a question regarding this setting on the iPhone 5. I have noticed the location icon appearing even though I have no GPS apps running. I know the culprit is REMINDERS as the icon is the one which has no fill. My question is whether this type of usage will drain the battery the same as if I was using a GPS app for driving guidance.
