Hey all, I have searched for the answer before posting this so I decided to finally ask.

If I decide to jailbreak the iPhone and sync it the way it is, I assume the sync will be normal. What if later down the line I want the iPhone to revert back to the original settings, will the "Restore" button in iTunes revert it back to the original iPhone settings with all my last synced information or information from long ago prior to it being jailbroken?

Reason I ask is because I have performed the jailbreak before but was afraid to sync my iPhone with my Mac fearing that the some of my information (ie: calendar, memos, contacts) will get all messed up somehow if I restore from a jailbroken phone to the original software.

Sorry if this is confusing, I don't really know how to ask it. Thanks in advance.

Why would jailbreaking affect your contacts, calendar, memo's, etc...?

If you restore to stock and restore all your info will show up just fine.
