if they're not going to fix it then I totally want my money back! I only had it for like a week and a half, and I only got to make 2 ringtones!

Yup. Which is why I never paid for it. I figured it would be dead on the next update.

The question is... does iPhoneRingtoneMaker give refunds? You paid for an apllication that no longer works.

    Hmmm....

TUAW Interview: Ambrosia's Andrew Welch on the iPhone update and iToner

I knew I read this somewhere... Now, this applies to iToner, is this the same person that made iPhoneRingToneMaker?

Is there any chance that you'd offer users a refund for iToner if it gets too difficult to keep up with the changes?

Yes, we've been in the Mac software business for 15 years. My name means a lot more to me than $15. If people want a refund, we will refund their money. It sucks, because it's happening due to forces beyond our control, but ultimately it is our product, and therefore our responsibility to make it work.

okay you caught me ha ha. but i did upgrade itunes so everytime i synced it would delete my ringtones. but i found that if i used ibrickr and clicked ringtones and went to the "ringtones" folder that iphoneringtonemaker stores them in, i could put them in the iphone and not lose them. sorry about the 1.1.1 thing. i wasn't thinking. i had been up for a really long time and i was tired and not working on all cylinders. :S

    From efiko.com

We are happy to announce internal beta testing for iphoneringtonemaker with support for iphone 1.1.1 Barring any unforseen hurdles while testing, a public beta will be released very shortly.

Hooray I was just about to give in and upgrade to 1.1.1 but I'll wait for the update now!

i'm not upgrading again until apple completely unlocks the phone. so if they don't ever, then i never will. unless everything i have now is updated to satisfy the upgrades. i'm not gonna pay apple for ringtones of cds i already own. when i can make them for free. it doesn't cost them any money to let us use it as a ringtone. its no different from us playing the songs outloud on an ipod. no matter how you spin it.

I wouldnt either but the only reason I want to upgrade is cause yahoo push doesnt work anymore and I've heard that I need to upgrade to get it working. Which if its true is a bunch of BS to me.

i just don't understand why apple is being such a nazi about it. i mean look at all that we've done behind their backs and the apps that people have made are better than some of apple's. they ought to recruit some of these people so that they can provide stuff that the consumers obviously want lol

I know I mean look at what the hackers made. Free Ringtones, Games, Ebay Apps and other stuff. Apple put out the Itunes Wifi Music store. Big Whoop why would I ever use that?

yeah seriously. like i wouldn't rather be on my computer to purchase that kind of stuff anyway. but maybe some people like it. i wish they'd make an icon creator. i have made a few and there are some that i like better than the official ones but its hit or miss
