iPads 1 with a 07.11.01 baseband unlockable?

    Are iPads 1 with a 07.11.01 baseband unlockable?
    A friend of mine is having difficulties with this.
    And me personally i don't know anything about jailbreaking.

    The iPad ships unlocked. Why is he trying to unlock it?

    Thanks for the reply Michael, just asked my friend your question and she said the person she sold it to on ebay wants to use it with another provider...He basically wants his money back unless he can unlock it ...

    But you don't need to unlock, as it's unlocked. You just need a micro-SIM. Unlocking will not help with that. Methinks the buyer is confused.
