I have an .me email.

How do I get a .icloud?

Can you have both? Even though I'm not sure I care I ned to know.

@Zanthe I have an @me account and out of the blue I got that push message today
I thought it may be a scam so I pushed no
But then I remembered @me is closed
ANd maybe they moved all @me.com to icloud.com ?

Haven't heard anything about it yet. I'll wait and maybe something will show up eventually. My .me email works although I really never use it.

@Zanthe just try to log in your cloud with the @icloud.com and the @me.com pass word and see if it works
I never looked until now but if you go into settings you can choose what ID to use for imessage and facetime
I set the @icloud.com up for my iPad only. Now you can also choose what to use as caller ID
I never seen that before ? Perhaps it was there before but I never noticed it before.

.icloud and .me are identical, I sent and received emails from .me and .icloud. It worked.

Likewise.. I can send to my account name at either @me.com or @icloud.com and it shows up in the same mailbox.

Mine does the same thing now..

However, it added settings to my iPhone under Mail. You guys might want to check it out. There's a whole new thing with your email setting and both addresses, it even lets you specify which account to send from under iCloud

I do want to mention, I still think iCloud is a little slower than normal email, or should I say compared to GMail. And some things in relation to the timing of read emails is annoying, too.

I was hoping after Apple 'moved' from ME to iCloud,things would have been much better.

No, thus far. But, that is another thing I forgot to mention. I think the engine for spam protection on iCloud needs to be better. Google does a fine job of this
