i've used ipod liberator- at first it wouldnt work but then randomly it started working fine, but- and there's always a but- i can only emergency copy my songs from my iphone
After connecting your iPhone to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, you can choose Transfer Purchases from iPod from the File menu. Or you can right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your iPhone in the iTunes Source list, then choose Transfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears. Please note that this feature only works for items that were purchased on the iTunes Store. Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your iPod or iPhone to the iTunes library. Hope that helps you out.
i have found the answer to Iphone to computer transfer kkhttp://www.getsharepod.com/ this site is what you need if your trying to transfer your music from you Iphone/Ipod to your PC. I searched all over for a free program like idump, but everything was a trail and i had to pay for it after 10 tracks. This WILL TRANSFER YOUR MUSIC FROM YOUR IPHONE/IPOD FOR FREE!!!kk
If you have bought the music, just use iTunes "Transfer purchases" feature. Just like what slapdad said. kk If you have non-purchases songs on ipod and don't want to lose them, I found this how cast guide may help. Good luck to all! :dft009:happy
Check the dates on the posts you're replying to! That's an easy answer anyway. How about the 900 songs I have that weren't purchased. I think that is really the question, and I think it was answered.
I also bought the Lenogo software and am having problems. It doesn’t recognize my iPhone at all. I checked the Lenogo website and their “Support” page is non-existent. If I click the “Help” button the when I open the software itself, and then click “Troubleshooting”, nothing happens. Nothing opens. What’s the deal, Lucille?
lifesaver! Thank you for this!!! I had the same issue as the OP- dead hard drive- and this saved me a lot of time & money on music alone! *thumbs up*
I could just sync my iPhone before leaving and load it up with music but if something wrong happened (ie if I had to restore), I would lose all my music, which is why I think it is wise to move the music I want to my netbook. There are step by step articles about iPhone Transfer on PC and Mac. For PC: how to transfer songs/music from iPhone to computer For Mac: how to transfer iPhone contents to Mac OS Hope these can do you a favor.
Has anyone come up with an answer as to how to transfer music not purchased thru ITunes store from Iphone to Mac? I actually need to transfer my playlists which are on my phone but not the Mac.
I did it straight from iTunes without much problem when I transferred my daughter's music to her new laptop. If I remember correctly it was pretty much drag and drop.
My hard drive died on my computer and I thought all of my music was gone. Then I found a guide here that allowed me to copy my music off for free, it works perfectly.
For give me for being stupid, but I have down loaded sharepod and now levesoft and cannot find either ofthem after I have downloaded them. Someone, please tell me what I am doing wrong, I'm going crazy. I am using a MAC. Thanks in advance Stuart Q
Thanks Lon, I managed to sort it out all working fine now. All I have to do know it figure out to make it work in my car via Bluetooth.
Be sure to authorize the computer before connecting the device. To authorize, follow these steps: Open iTunes. From the Store menu, choose Authorize Computer. In the dialog that appears, the Apple ID button is selected by default. Enter your Apple ID and password, then click the Authorize button.
