How to downgrade iPad 2 from iOS 5.1

    Please tell me how do I downgrade my ipad2 from ios5.1 to 5.0.1
    I tried it using iTunes but there are a lot of errors , also I tried to resolve them but every time a new error come up.
    Redsnow say that it does not supports the device.

    You cannot downgrade the firmware if you don't have a 5.0.1 SHSH. If you do have this, be sure to change your hosts file so it directs to Cydia instead of Apple. You can do this by installing TinyUmbrella and checking the box next to 'Set hosts to Cydia on exit' and then applying the changes.

    Random but on this subject do you have to go through iOS 5.0 or 5.01 to get to 5.1?
    Meaning can you have been at 4.3 or whatever we were on. Jailbreak. Un break. Now you go back to what ever you were when you broke or to whatever latest is?

    You can skip firmware versions. But if you are restoring to anything other than the current firmware, you need an SHSH.

    I updated my iPad 2 from iOS 5.0.1 ,,
    I have 5.0.1 SHSH
    First I got error 3194 in iTunes , then I changed the host file , and also used tiny umbrella
    Then got random errors like error 11 , error 1600'1602

    11 is a bad bbfw or bandwidth in the shsh. Just delete it.

    Have you googled all the errors?

    Yes I have googled all the errors
    Redsnow says device unsupported
    I tried to restore it to 5.0.1 and 4.3 but errors go on coming .

    I just researched it and you can't downgrade an iPad 2 from 5.1 to 5.0.1 (even if you have a 5.0.1 SHSH). Your options are to stay on 5.1 or downgrade to 4.x.

    iH8sn0w.....major jailbreaking dev has tweeted that he has found a "loop hole in Apples APTicket system" allowing him to restore his iPad2 from 5.1 to 5.0.1(All A5 devices).....the fact he tweeted about the find, may suggest Apple cannot block this fix anytime soon. No release date for this new tool yet...may be incorporated in Sn0wbreeze or iFaith...
